It’s been quite quiet on the Fenix Carriages page recently. We have several large restoration projects on the go, keeping us busy. I thought I would share some past Conservation and restoration projects to show what we get up to here at Fenix. ... See MoreSee Less
These pictures are really lovely! Can we have a group look around at the workshop sometime please? It looks so interesting.
Beautiful afternoon for training here at Fenix. We have the indoor size arena and a obstacle in the 100m x 40m all weather arena. The ground is perfect for cones and obstacles on the grass at the moment. Lessons available with our horses and ponies or with your own turnout. You can also hire the facilities for your own practice. ... See MoreSee Less

But do the horses' clocks go back too.......? :-)
Rocky will still be banging his door ..... he will still be on BST!
Stunning! Highly recommend Jo Hansford Photography. A great experience/ gift with memories to last a lifetime.A night shot of Mark of Fenix Carriages with one of the carriages, a Private Coach by Holland and Holland, restored by Fenix, with Mark's beautiful team of horses - Zorro, Cambel, Ulex A and Ms P Kennaway’s Corne.
This photograph was actually taken at dusk this summer, before the sun disappeared. Mark wanted to create something that looked like night to show the lamps lit and shining, so we created the image with multi exposures, then combined in post production.
What do you think folks?? We think they look incredibly smart and straight out of a period drama! Such an amazing experience with Mark and Joanna Broadbent. ... See MoreSee Less
The once in a lifetime shot. And it was more difficult to get than we ever imagined!!
Big and little team Fenix in a rare shot together.
Mark is driving his KWPN geldings Zorro, Cambel, Ulex A and Ms P Kennaway’s Corne to his Frank Allen roof seat break. Jo is driving Welsh ponies Anything But Ugly, Gwenllan Aloma, Awelygrug Monarch and Mrs Diana Moores Connemara pony Dunlewey Rosella to her Offord roof seat break.
Both teams were trained by Mark and Jo at Fenix and these two beautiful original carriages housed in the museum at Fenix. The pony roof seat break was restored by Fenix Carriages and the Frank Allen roof seat break is in original condition.
Since this photo was taken the pony carriage has been sold and the ponies will not be driven as a team again. Truly a once in a lifetime dream photo for us. Thanks to Jo Hansford Photography
