Topper
Topper is our new lesson pony, he is a absolute gentleman in and out of the carriage. His carriage is ideal for lessons having a double bench seat for beginners and a single seat for more experienced drivers.
All lessons are given by Mark Broadbent L.H.H.I.

Design an Obstacle Competition
Thank you to all the young drivers who put so much thought and effort into their obstacle designs, we expected some good ideas but the details of sizes, materials, flagging options and spectator enjoyment were outstanding.
We did eventually choose a winner and that was 11 year old Fleur Snow and her fun Mr Caterpillar obstacle. Fleur's prize is to drive her obstacle at the Fenix Driving Centre in the spring and £50.00.

As the standard was so high we decided to award a second prize, and that goes to 9 year old James Charles Simpson for his Fenix obstacle. We particularly liked the research into horse friendly materials and the connection with the carriage building business.
Other great designs included:
-The Bee Keeper by Imogen English
-The British Young Drivers Challenge by Clare, Frank and Roger Campbell
-Crazy Face by Harriet Bradford
-The Clock by Fleur Snow
-Rockin 'N' Rolling by Natasha Daas
-The Red Rover and Lorna Doone Inn by Amber o' Neill
-Tesco's by Jay Snow
