Mark Broadbent |
|
|
Mark Broadbent trained his first pony to harness at the age of eleven. He has been training horses ever since. By the time Mark hit the headlines in 1977, by winning at the Horse of the Year Show, he was developing and making his own carriages. Fenix rose from the need for a carriage that could withstand the rigours of competition. With a combination of highly trained ponies, driving ability and a Fenix Carriage, Mark was the 1984, 1985, and 1986 Pony Team National Champion. Mark has become a well known international competitor and enjoys great success in single, pair and tandem showing. He often competes with a horse team as well as running Fenix Carriages, teaching internationally and judging at the premier competitions worldwide. Mixing Sport and Business can work, as Fenix Carriages have shown over the last 35 years. The Company has developed with the sport and grown to an organisation building modern and traditional carriages, offering training and schooling facilities and advising bodies throughout the world. Fenix have the staff and resources to cater for beginners through to advanced competitors.
