Fenix Carriages relocated to Higher Hill Farm, Clayhidon in August 2007. This idyllic location is set within an area of outstanding natural beauty, only 5 minutes from junction 26 of the M5.

Fenix Carriages is the only centre where you can find:

• the manufacture and restoration of carriages,
• the training of carriage horses
• and instruction for their drivers

all at one location.

Fenix provides improved driving facilities with:

• new 100m x 40m all weather arena
• permanent dressage grass arenas
• permanent cones arenas
• Six permanent obstacles including the new Castle and Caterpillar obstacles!
• The surrounding hills provide excellent "get fit" driving routes.

Fenix Carriages, founded over 35 years ago by Mark Broadbent, has new purpose built workshops which enable the carriage building to be more productive and efficient to meet the continuing demand for the highest quality carriages. The team of craftsmen at Fenix use modern and traditional techniques to build show, commercial and competition vehicles. The new Coach House and Museum which, amongst it's displays, currently houses four coaches, with another soon to arrive, will also provide for an interesting visit.
